Nostalgia Corner

this page is dedicated to my early childhood and all the aesthetics and technology from that era.

• I was born in 2001, the same year Windows XP (the best version) and the Ipod were released. Though we did have a Windows98 first when i was very young then slowly we upgraded to XP.


• TV was the first piece of technology i knew about but the computer was special time, battling for online time between several of my older sisters i would spend my time on it drawing in MSPaint and playing all sorts of games from Barbie, ClubPenguin and MoshiMonsters.Along with looking at artwork online from sites like deviantart.

This is similar to the TV we had growing up, it would sit on the living room floor and we would watch the free channels like PBS Kids, Boomerang (which was my favorite!)

• Some of my favorite childhood memories were waking up on the weekend to either a bowl of cereal or a cold balogna sandwhich with spicy mustard and sitting on the couch watching looney tunes with my mom who was folding everyones laundry. I think back to these small moments and think how small my world was before everything got scarier and important.



I had mountains and mountains of VHS & DVDs physical media was a MUST in the early 2000's especially in a family that couldn't afford cable sometimes or rent movies from Redbox or Blockbuster (whom i miss very much!)


Some of my favorite movies to watch growing up on our VHS Player were Disney movies like "Robin Hood/Aladdin/Pinocchio/Dumbo"
